Use of Other Light Sources
- Light must be collimated to within a 52 degree cone of acceptance
- IR (heat) must be filtered with an IR filter
- Depending on operating conditions, brass ferrule may need to be fan cooled
- Designer is cautioned to pay particular attention to cooling with halogen light sources. Light sources designed for glass/quartz fibers may melt Lumitex acrylic fibers
