User's Guide
A LED is the most common light source. A single LED can illuminate up to 4.0" wide and 10" long. Wider, brighter panels require multiple LED's. Any T1-3/4 (5mm) round LED can be used and the panels can be customized to accept T-1 (3mm) round LED's. Lumitex carries a variety of LED colors which are optimized to this product. Some of the more popular color LEDs include white, green, blue, amber and red.
Fiber Optic Panels can also be lit with higher wattage LED or halogen light sources for additional brightness in demanding applications.
