Lumitex Medical Device's patented UniGlo® technology uses a highly-engineered, computer-controlled abrasion process that optimizes light emission from very thin, flexible panels.

UniGlo panels are extremely thin, and can be designed to direct some light forward, or disperse light uniformly to create a “shadowless” effect.

These panels can attach to medical instruments, bringing bright, cool, shadowless light into deep surgical cavities. These can also be used to backlight medical displays or switches.

UniGlo is used in our “Ultra-Bright” Surgical Illuminator, as well as much of our instrument backlighting.
