Automotive Badging

A leading OEM automotive supplier wanted to illuminate the existing Ford Mustang Pony emblem. Lumitex was able to produce a backlight solution that consisted of our PCF4 technology coupled with a flex circuit.

  • .45mm PCF4 (polycarbonate core, acrylic cladding)
    • Reflective Ink layers add about 0.05mm
  • .30mm PCF4 (polycarbonate core, acrylic cladding)
    • Reflective Ink layers add about 0.05mm

Lumitex UniGlo Technology

  • Constructed using 0.010” fiber optic strands (acrylic core, fluorinated polymer cladding)

Materials can withstand temperatures from -40°C to 85°C

Lumitex Value Added Services (L-VAS) provides detailed engineering and design support from concept to production for your application. The process starts with a Lumitex Sales Engineer and/or Application Development Manager documenting your application and performance requirements.

Once our Application team has documented your needs they will work in tandem with Lumitex’s engineering team. Subsequently a detailed proposal will be generated for your evaluation and approval.
