Lumitex is a certified ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 manufacturer.
Lumitex® Light Guide Film technology, Clad Flat Fiber™, transmits light from side-emitting LED’s, directing it through the film and refracting it upwards to light designated areas. The Light Guide Film can be integrated with electronic circuitry to create a simple, low-profile lighting system for applications in electronics, transportation, and medical markets
Clad Flat Fiber™ (CFF) utilizes Lumitex®proprietary processes to produce precisely-engineered light guides, delivering light exactly where it is needed. Light rays from side-emitting LEDs travel through the film and are refracted towards the surface by engineered optical features. Uniformity can be controlled through optical patterns and LED placement. Our proprietary CFF allows integration of electronics, LED’s, reflectors, brightness enhancing films, adhesives, and other components to optimize design for each application.
