Lumitex, a provider of specialty LED lighting in medical, automotive, and aerospace markets, is the latest company to announce a strategic alliance with the Lighting Research Center (LRC) in Troy, NY to develop a research agenda for commercializing new innovations and helping bring these products and services to market.
The Lighting Research Center (LRC) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute has worked with similar companies that have touched on the aspect of commercialization, however, this new partnership with the Strongsville, OH-based company Lumitex brings it to a whole new level.
“This is an entirely new and unique collaboration focused on development and commercialization of innovations in light technology and science,” an LRC spokesperson told LEDs Magazine.
